A Romance Story between the U.S. and Martin Luther King Let us remember a few things that are easily forgotten in the U.S.: black history cannot be understood in the timespan of a month, the violence inherent in capitalism cannot be overcome by a false sense of progress, and the Civil Rights Movement from its inception met its biggest enemy by the state. One extraordinary example of this was seen in the political activism of Martin Luther King, Jr.
Enough is enough. The ordeal between the U.S. and North Korea has become a “pissing contest” at its finest hour. The mainstream media promote the idea that North Korea is a rogue nation hell-bent on the complete nuclear annihilation of the U.S.. Not only is this the general idea of the media, but it is reflected in the way that policy is being written. In The Chicago Tribune, on September 4, 2017, it was reported that Nikki Haley, the ambassador of the U.
