NAYA Annual Unthanksgiving

7 Waters Canoe Family

Join 7 Waters Canoe Family, an intertribal community, in indigenous land tending practices promoting food sovereignty and reclaiming this holiday as a celebration of indigenous peoples’ survival. Participants will be planting native plants at Howell Territorial Park!

The Flowers We Deserve: A Celebration of Published Black Women

The People’s Poets

Hear from published Black women in the Portland area at The Joint to celebrate Black writers! Lovelee Lundy, Camille T. McDaniel, Jae Nichelle, Brianna Renae, and DJ Ashé will be sharing their work in a poetry showcase and panel discussion put on by The People’s Poets.

Free Community Yoga & Mutual Aid Drop-off

woo-woo 

Come to a free yoga session at woo-woo’s studio and bring items for donation like shelf-stable food, water, shelter items, hygiene products, clothing, books, or chargers, to be funneled through Don’t Shoot Portland for mutual aid services. You can also make a monetary donation upon sign-up! After donating, you will be entered into a raffle to win a $100 woo-woo giftcard. This is one of many opportunities to give goods, services, or funds to mutual aid networks in Portland.
