The Quest’s Quests: I Actually Done a Healing

  1. Consider how clouds commit to constant change

  2. See uncertainty as the presence of opportunity

  3. Greet the morning out loud before you get out of bed tomorrow

  4. Imagine the eyes of person you love in the mirror and watch as your pupils dilate

  5. Meditate for ten minutes and if your mind drifts, tell yourself that “this time is a gift”

  6. Leave this building and look up at the sky

  7. Write what hurts you most on your thigh and cover it with a bandaid

  8. Go to a friend’s playlist, hit shuffle, and listen all the way through

  9. Forget to set an alarm for Saturday

  10. Say something kind and true about your mother or your father to a stranger 

  11. Design a dream for someone who needs it more than you

  12. Stand on the Blue Bridge and listen to the scattered seconds of silence

  13. Challenge your greatest superstition 

  14. Let a melody construct itself from your heartbeat 

  15. Forgive yourself for finding meaning where there may be none 

  16. Pray to something you don’t believe in for something that you do

  17. Call someone whose voice you miss the sound of

  18. Memorize the shape of someone’s fingernails

  19. Look behind as you finally approach the light

  20. Remember that if everything doesn’t seem to work, then maybe nothing will

  21. Read number twenty again

  22. Read number twenty one more time over

  23. Go by what I mean and not what I say

  24. Do you know what I mean to say?
