Art

A starry night,

The rays of the sun,

A field of wheat,

An almond tree,

I cannot hear you very well,

I can only see,

You’ve given me Xanthopsia,

The color of dopamine.

Yet I choose to leave the painting unfinished,

To not pick up the brush again,

To leave my books scattered across the table,

And my straw hat by the door,

You’ve given me Xanthopsia,

The color of cowardice.
