Tips for Living in the City

#1- Get a friend with a car

Moving from a small town to a big city is no small change, and the adjustment can be weird. Going from somewhere with two coffee shops to somewhere with a coffee shop on every corner can be life changing. Of course, this begs the question of how to get around. And so, my first tip for anyone moving from a small town to the big city is #1- Get a Friend with a Car™. Friend with a Car™ can be a wonderful asset to anyone who has a fear of public transit, one-way streets, and also traffic. Friend with a Car™ knows all sorts of wonderful things to do, see, and drive to. Bonus Points: Friend with a Car™ is great for driving to and from the airport, train station, and other destinations. When you have Friend with a Car™ life truly is about the journey (though still partly the destination). So if you don’t have one, get one today! For the small price of gas money, quality time, and/or buying them a small treat every now and then, Friend with a Car™ is a truly worthwhile investment.
